DivTracker AI is made by one person. I read every message and reply as soon as I can. Say what you did, what you expected and what happened instead, and which phone you use. Please do not send account numbers or other sensitive details by email.

Signing in

There is no password. Enter your email address and the app sends you a link. Open the link on the phone where the app is installed and you are signed in.

If no email arrives, look in your spam folder and check the address for typos, then ask for a new link.
A link works once and expires after a short time. Ask for a new one if it does not open.
You can look around without signing in: on the sign-in screen, choose “Explore a sample journey”. It shows an invented portfolio.

Adding your holdings

On the You tab, add the broker or bank you invest with.
On the Portfolio tab, add each purchase or sale: the date, the quantity, the price and any fees.
Add the ticker of a holding, for example AAPL, to see its latest closing price and its value. A holding with no ticker, or with no price available, is shown at what it cost.

The Read and Ask sections

On the Portfolio tab, Read explains in a few sentences what your figures mean, and Ask answers questions such as “What is my biggest risk?”. Tap a sentence to see the figures it rests on.

Everything is worked out and written on your phone. Nothing you enter or ask is sent anywhere.
On an iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on, Apple’s on-device model writes the sentences. On other phones the app writes them itself, from the same figures.
With Apple Intelligence it may also say what you could consider. It is generated automatically, can be wrong and is not financial advice: check before you act. Holdings without a price are left out of its figures, and it says so.

Prices and exchange rates

Closing prices come from a market-data provider and exchange rates from the European Central Bank. They can arrive late, and for some tickers a price is not available. Check anything you rely on against your broker’s own statement. DivTracker AI is a record-keeping tool and does not give financial, tax or investment advice.

Deleting your account

Open the You tab and choose “Delete account”. This removes your account and the portfolio data that belongs only to it. It cannot be undone. The privacy policy says what is stored and for how long.
